Super intense drums, and aggressive synthesizers are tempered with delicate choral sections. Elements of dubstep, and EDM meet medieval singers chanting “vae victis” which is Latin for “woe to the conquered/vanquished”, hence the name of the track.

Conceived as a sort of futile race against time in a post-apocalyptic world. Dark, driving, spirit-crushing, relentless marching, on and on and on… A repetitive piano motif meets synthetic drones, and big industrial drums. An extended intro until 1:17 gives it a prog rock feel. The result is something that sounds like a nuclear holocaust – disturbing, and bleak.
Good for games, and films set in uninhabited wastelands.
